Here are winners of Lakehead Wheelers Bicycle Club's inaugural 50-mile race July 13, all four of whom qualified to contest the Tribune-Winnipeg Beach 50-mile race at Winnipeg July 27. A blanket would have covered the quartet at the finish. Paul Brunetta crossed the line winner in 2 hours, 15 minutes and 49 seconds. Reading from left to right they are: Paul Brunetta, first; Sec Brunello, fourth; Johnny DeGiacomo. second, and Joe Brescia, third. A dance is being sponsored by the Wheelers Club at the Midway tomorrow night with a view to help defray expenses of these brilliant pedallers to the Manitoba metropolis.
