July 8, 1935: Eight Enter for 50-Mile Bicycle Race Saturday. Keen Race anticipated as plans completed-List of officials announced.

July 9, 1935: Interest Keen for Marathon. 50-mile Bicycle Race Expected to attract large gathering on Saturday.

July 11, 1935: Eleven Entries for 50-Mile Bicycle Marathon Saturday. Cyclists tapering off on Training Schedule. H. Pickering, former Winnipeg Ace makes application for coming classic.

July 15, 1935: Paul Brunetta is Winner of Inaugural 50 Mile Bike Race. Four riders finish within few feet of each other. Sensational climax marks rousing battle of pedal-pushers over 50 Mile route to Scott Highway.

July 24, 1935: City's Torchy Pedens off tomorrow for Big Race. Four riders to compete in Winnipeg and St. Boniface Races over week-end.

July 27, 1935: Bike Riders in 50 Mile Today. Over one hundred entries to contest Tribune to Winnipeg Beach Event.

July 29, 1935: Paul Brunetta Beaten by a second in Winnipeg Bike Race. Local Riders well to Fore. Personal touch given Tribune Winnipeg Beach 50 Mile Classic by Walter Sargent.

July 30, 1935: Riders home from Big Events. Acquited themselves in great style in Manitoba meets.

August, 1935: Wheelers are to contest 10-mile race at Schreiber.

August 12, 1935: Bike racing will feature contest at Fall Fair.

August, 1935: Many Lakehead Athletes are to contest at Schreiber.

September 3, 1935: Bicycle Riders Delight Crowd at Labor Day Meet. District Titles Change Hands in Thrilling Races. DeGiacomo wins two.

September 24, 1935: Bike Riders Show Promise in Inaugural Time Trials. Sec Brunello crashes into Ticket Office but is unhurt. Team Race is Success.
