The Annual Christmas Party was held at the Lappe Ski Centre on December 8th, starting at 6:30pm. As usual we will had a great pot luck supper with plenty of refreshments. The supper started at 8:30pm at a cost of $5.00 per person, which went toward the rental of the hall.

Three people went out skating while one person went skiing. The temperature that evening was a fridged minus 24 celcius.

Also many people enjoyed the sauna throughout the evening.

Hello Thunder Bay,

Itīs Frank from Piuro, Peru.  A desert city where we are taking a one day 
break then heading into the dry, sun and headwind again tomorrow on our way 
back to the Pacific Ocean.

I hope that this summer and autumn went and is going well for the TBCC.  
Please enjoy a beer on behalf of my trip.

I am half planning to return to North America in Los Angeles and cycling 
home in August 2001.  Just a possibility.  Or, maybe meet Guy on his way 
down highway 61 to New Orleans.  Also, I might be back in Thunder Bay for a 
short interlude in February.
